Christopher Battles joined Shanahan Law Group in 2011 and practices in the areas of civil and business litigation.

Christopher was born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in nearby Kent. He completed his undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University in 2008, graduating magna cum laude with honors and earning Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Economics and Political Science. He received his Juris Doctor degree cum laude from the Duke University School of Law in 2011. While at Duke, Christopher served as an Articles Editor for the journal Law and Contemporary Problems, was an Interscholastic Tournament Coordinator for the Mock Trial Board, and participated in mock trial competitions throughout the United States. He received a Certificate of Achievement from the North Carolina Bar Association for his pro bono work as a member of Duke Law’s Appellate Litigation Clinic.

Christopher is a member of the North Carolina State Bar.

When not working, Christopher enjoys spending time with his fiancée, following Cleveland and Columbus sports teams, and hosting "game nights" for family and friends.
